Community Corner & Real Talk

The part of a gym nobody puts on a price list: the people. Member stories, the wins worth talking about, and what our community says when nobody is selling them anything.

Same five questions. Three very different journeys.

Jamie asked three members what actually changed after they walked through the door. Their answers are in their own words, start to finish.

the five questions

Every member got the same five, in the same order. Their full answers open from each card below.

  1. What made you say, “I’m ready to join Journey,” and take that first step?
  2. Since joining Journey, what’s changed for you—not just on the outside, but in the way you feel, think, and show up every day?
  3. Was there a moment when you realized, “Wait… I’m actually doing this. I’m on the right path”? What happened?
  4. How has Journey helped you see yourself differently and believe in what you’re capable of?
  5. If someone is thinking about joining Journey but feels unsure or nervous, what would you want them to know?

“Just walk through the door. Seriously.”

Followed the studio online for ages, overthought it “about a million times,” then booked one JUMPS class. That was five years ago this month.

something for herself

“I don’t give up on myself as easily anymore.”

A mom, a wife and an employee who had lost sight of the person underneath those roles. Walked in during a dark stretch, and kept walking in.

“Don’t limit yourself. See what you can do.”

Spotted two women in jump boots at the Sussex Balloon Festival and called the studio that same week. Nearly quit before the boots clicked. Then bought land, cleared it and built a home.

real talk

Straight from the members

Short videos from the people who train here, what they came for, what actually changed, and what they would tell someone still deciding.
